Youth Olympic

Few weeks ago, I noticed someone hacked into my blog, and posted some rubbish titles, and dun know why would he or she do that. Anyway I have deleted the post and reedited it, and changed my password.

Last thursday, International Olympic Committee (IOC) awarded Youth Olympics to Singapore, thousand of supporters cheered and the first time  Olympics flame will be in Singapore stated by PM. The national effort and the people effort made it possible for us to be the focus of a new era for sporting development.

I would congratulate everyone and the ministers whom have put in much effort to win the right to host the inaugural Youth Olympics in 2010. Preparations are already underway as Singapore is proposing 24 venues, with four being built as temporary facilities, including one large cluster of 13 facilities in its Marina-Kallang area.

The Youth Olympic Village will be located at a new multi-million-dollar student residential complex at the National University of Singapore, slated for completion months before the event.
