The next seminar is on Technology commercialisation in biotech industry held on 08 Mar at SIM University and I would be attending it.

Biopreneur a word thats from Biology and Entrepreneur, what it means is combining biotechnology with entrepreneurship. Technology moves in a break neck speed, and many exciting innovations are unavailable and unknown to most people.

Engineering has came a long way, in the order of time line from mechanical, electrical, electronics, computers, and then biomedical. Managing the field of engineering and injecting with new business models have been the critical aspects in the development of biotech firms.

Business intelligence and marketing are important to decision making and the right implementation would lead to competitive advantage in the local to global markets. Allocation of investments have on value creation for the companies.

Global supply chains such as product development, logistic and distribution are the fundamentals, and knowledge to manage operations effectively. Integrating technology with business requires skills that allows the creation of new investment opportunities.

Strategic and organisational collaboration would generate growth and value for the companies. Innovation could leverage on technological advantage and joint ventures are used to promote the new products.

Organisational practice on the leading edge technological trends in the context of business development. Various social, economic and public policies affects the outcome of the competitiveness of the business model. Legislative procedures are needed to carry out other sources of private and public listed funds.
